Product Description
A sword made for a hero, a commander among king.
This sword is a replica of ‘Joyeuse’, the sword of consecration used for Charlemagne. Born in the year 742, he was emperor over the Holy Roman Empire, laying the foundations of what would become modern day Western Europe. This sword was described as: ‘Charlemagne was wearing his fine white coat of mail and his helmet with gold-studded stones; by his side hung Joyeuse, and never was there a sword to match it; its colour changed thirty times a day’. Beneath Charlemagne came his Paladins, warriors of such renown that they were the pentacle of valor and spirit in the early Middle Ages.
This sword has a stainless steel blade along with a wirebound grip.
