At The Knights Vault, we always do our best to keep up to date with all laws and regulations when it comes to purchasing and shipping our swords. For years now, we have set a standard for shipping that we are proud of, working with different companies to ensure the most hassle-free and affordable shipping we can. We understand that the world is constantly changing, as are the laws and regulations that often occur when it comes to shipping our products, and we want to make it as easy as we can for all of our customers to purchase from our store, both in our physical storefront and online. With that in mind, we love our American customers, both those who have been patronizing our store since our conception to those buying their first sword. Americans have always been a large portion of our customer base, and we know that there are a lot of questions in regards to new shipping laws and the tariffs passing at the end of this month. Here’s what we know:

-Starting in September, the US will be placing a 10% tariff on all British goods being imported into the country. This includes all goods from our shop.

-This new tariff is paid upon arrival in the USA by the customer.

-This 10% tariff will only apply to the goods and not the shipping charges. So if you buy a £150 item, which will cost £35 to ship, you will only be expected to pay £15 in tariff costs. 

As of right now, our shipping costs and abilities have no changes for the US, except for this. Again, we as a company are working to make this transition as quick and easy as possible with as little impact on the customer as well.
