Winter is Coming: This sword is a stylistic representation of the sword Ice from the book series A Song of Ice and Fire.
It appears throughout the first book, A Game of Thrones, carried by Lord Eddard Stark. This stylized sword stands at cm tall and is the perfect gift for GOT book fans.
An heirloom of the Stark family, this greatsword has been used both ceremonially and in battle for centuries amongst the family of Winterfell. It is made from Valyrian steel, as represented by the patterned blade, and was last used by Ned Stark in the first book of A Song of Ice and Fire, where he carried it within a scabbard made from a wolf’s pelt.
However, the sword falls from Ned’s hand when he is accused of treason, and it is the blade used to kill Ned. The blade is then taken to the castle as a prize before it is eventually melted down and used to create Widow’s Wail and Oathkeeper.
