This is the half-sized rendition of our Culloden targe.

Based on a targe captured at the Battle of Culloden, targes were a popular hide shield used by Scottish fighters, particularly during their ongoing fights and border skirmishes with the English.

This shield is handcrafted and made from tooled leather, a suede back, and brass fittings, and it has fittings for easing holding.
