This rapier first came about in the 17th century and was often seen during the Thirty Years’ War, which took place across Central Europe as a result of 17th Century Reformation. This conflict was one of the bloodiest in history, leading to major decline in German population.
This sword is often paired with a side arm/parrying dagger such as our left-handed dagger.
