Product Description
This a carbon steel replica of a 15th century Halflang blade.
This is a distinctively Scottish one-and-a-half-handed blade, notable due to it’s similarities to Scottish greatswords such as it’s langlets and double-edged blade. It also has slanted quillions, which is a style often seen in claymores. While lighter than their greatsword counterparts, the halflang was often carried as an arming sword for closer combat, often alongside a shield or axe.
