Product Description

Glamdring, also known as the ‘Foe-Hammer’ was the long, two-handed sword used by the wizard Gandalf in the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Originally forged in the first age by Turgon, the King of Gondolin, Glamdring was lost for over 6,000 years before being discovered in a troll cave by Gandalf and company. The sword was then used as Gandalf’s weapon, along with his staff, for the entirety of the War of the Ring, until it was then kept in the treasure vault of Minas Tirith for safe keeping.

As with all Elven made swords, Glamdring would shine when Orcs were near – “being the work of Elvish smiths in the Elder Days these swords shone with a cold light, if any Orcs were near at hand”.

Sadly, our reproduction doesn’t shine when enemies are near!
