A highly detailed, decorative version of the historical single headed axe used by cavalries in 16th Century Southern Germany.

Features beautiful scroll work which decorates the wide, rounded blade as well as the long, curved point that extends from its opposite side. Attached to a wooden shaft, this axe also features a matching silver tone handle, itself adorned with knotwork raised upon its surface.

This axe is purposefully left unsharpened for safe display.

Approximately 74cm in length.
